So one of the great things that happened for me is that a graphic designer stepped in to help me with my design needs. She created this beautiful calendar to accompany my first Renacimiento show. I loved them! Then I wanted to frame them in a cool looking way and make them easy to hang, so I went about figuring out how. I came up with the idea to glue them to a wood panel that I painted black, and then added a cute chain so they can be easily hung on the wall. Once I was done with my first one I shared the photo on Facebook and several of my friends said they wanted to buy one. This was so encouraging! I sold them for $10 each (dimensions are 10×13 inches framed). Added shipping & handling made them come to an even $20 (costs about $7 to ship in the US, and I rounded up to include the packing materials & labor).
Through this process I realized that I could do the same thing for prints of art! I found a way to make them look pretty cool and still be affordable. Will be uploading those images next. For now, if anyone is interested in a calendar I can ship them anywhere! Of course the shipping price will be different if you’re over seas. Payments can be made through PayPal or the store if you click the Gabriela’s Art link on the side bar (this will be updated very soon).
Thanks in advance everyone!
This looks fantastic! I think the graphic designer did an excellent job at supplementing your style, and you did a wonderful job to present it as a piece of art itself! If I weren’t trying to own fewer things, I’d be placing an order without a moments hesitation 🙂
