walking home

Walking home is usually a fun thing to do.  So much beauty in this town!  Today was especially fun because of the small rainstorm and how beautiful everything was afterward.   It was done raining by the time I got home 🙂

It was already raining downtown. Good thing I had rain boots and an umbrella!

    1. One of the things that made the moment so beautiful is that I believed that I was free for 4 days. It was like my “freedom!” walk home. Today I went into work and ended up working really hard ~once again~. Thinking right now, had I known yesterday that I would be working today I would have been preoccupied with other things and my adventurous stroll down the hill might have been a bus ride instead and I would have missed the journey altogether. Or, I would not have felt the sense of freedom, and, being burdened with too much work, I wouldn’t have been in the mood to photograph everything… All contemplation about how yesterday would have been different.

A lesson to stay in the present moment for me. Not knowing what the next day would bring allowed for the magic to happen that day. And today I woke up at 5:30am to get to work, right now I’m really tired, but it doesn’t take away the magic from yesterday. That will always be a beautiful memory stored in my cells that adds to the richness and fullness of my life 🙂

      1. Collecting magic. Something the observer loves I feel as well. Must be one preciousness of many faceted precious human. It’s great to be human and belong to the moment.
Caught some of the magic. It made me sneeze.
